Be one of the first to fall in love with the next Gail Sorronda or George Wu at QUT's graduate fashion parade ‘Material Thinking'. The night will witness 13 graduate collections ranging from intriguing accessories, vibrant coloured street wear and opulent evening dresses.
The stylish soiree will also reminisce about fashion's past, as bubbly glasses will be raised in a toast to the fifth anniversary of Fashion Design at QUT. Further champagne celebrations will take place on the Thursday night, with the launch of QUT's annual (free!) fashion magazine Frock Paper Scissors. Something tells me it's all an excuse to drink really.
If you want to play Anna Wintor for a night (make sure to wear sunglasses at night and look like a stiletto heel is shoved up your Gucci) you can purchase your tickets through Gardens Tix at the Gardens Point campus or call 3138 4455. Book early as these puppies sell out fast.
Or if the current economic times have left you without a spare $40 - don't despair. Simply pack a picnic of wine, cheese and crackers and watch the parade on the big screen outside. Fashion under the stars, very Tres Chic
Format: Parade
