Sure we all love a bit of Meryl Streep, and Anne Hathaway films are a guilty pleasure only some will admit to. But you can forget about that sappy The Devil Wears Prada, this film is the real deal; Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour in action - yes, the fashion pope exposed!

This fly-on-the-wall documentary is based around the magazine's September Issue (the January in fashion, darling); watch with amazement and shock-horror as film follows Wintour editing the magazine, obsessing over tiny details and with moments to spare, triumphantly delivering the biggest issue in Vogue history: 840 pages of crucially culled, debated and celebrated fall-preview fashion.

This movie is worth seeing if only to witness editor-at-large André Leon Talley's distressed bitching ‘You know what, it's a famine of beauty, it's a famine of beauty honey!' Indulge your superficial, consumerist heart. For an added surprise, the documentary sheds an intimate glimpse of Wintour's softer side; behind those big dark framed glasses.
