At FourThousand our motto is that 'the best things in life are often hard to find'. The latter clearly does not apply to GOMA. Sitting in the heart of South Bank's 'Cultural Centre', GOMA is easily found. However, we really must wager that it's one of Brisbane's best public institutions.

Exhibitions like Picasso, Eliasson and Warhol aside, GOMA's spaces are some of the city's finest.

Designed by Architectus, wooden slats, skinny beams and squeaky clean glass are topped off by possibly the smartest roof in town (which shades the gallery interior at all the right times of the day! Genius!) Its dual cinemas and high ceilings are impressive but not pretentious. Its Boardwalk Cafe and well-stocked store are accessible but not arrogant. Best of all? It's all free.
