Chances are a new shopfront has caught your eye on Ann Street in the last month. The inquisitive among us will know it as our prized new vintage haven, The Purple Bedroom. For the day dreaming passers by out there, let us introduce you to Tatiana Anikieff's room of mauve wonder.
Aptly named after a bedroom in Tatiana's mother's house filled with classic wears and accessories from yesteryear, here Tatiana's penchant for vintage began and purple bedroom finds became famed. With a background in fashion, including stints abroad as well as on home turf, Tatiana has developed an eye for a good thing.
Refreshingly, you won't feel overwhelmed by a magnitude of options but rather a meticulously refined selection of women's and men's wear sourced locally, nationally and internationally. Prices range from $5 to $250 for the more one-of-a-kind pieces. Thankfully this leaves room to make a visit to the bedroom weekly or bi-weekly with new wares introduced each day.
