Well Obama may have gotten elected and ignited some hope back into the world, but we've still got the reality of Bush's lovely recession to deal with, and everybody is starting to feel the pinch. I don't mean to stereotype, but artists aren't renowned for being the most well-to-do of people at the best of times (daddy, I'm looking at you), and with art supplies already notoriously pricey, any saving really is a blessing.

Look out for heavily-discounted products by Mont Marte and the store's own self-titled line. With products this pretty, the creative options are endless. Get started early on those homemade Christmas cards and you'll be the family favourite for sure.
