It's raining, it's pouring... we're all snoring. We people of Brisbane aren't used to this polar opposite of the weather scale. Bring back the heat and sunshine. Oy! We whine when we have it, we whine when we don't. We also whine about having to leave the house and the inevitability of our new winter boots getting wet (leather protector folks - it'll save your hide). The foliage can't save you now! Or can it?
My point, and I will get to it; is that the people from kitsch online store Plastic Foliage live in a place where it snows in the winter - so they understand man's desire to shop online, in front of the fireplace, whilst lying on a lambs wool rug - OK, so our winters may never be as regal as that mental picture, but the humble designers at Plastic Foliage have spent a few nights by the fireplace and they came up with these cracker ideas: handmade, hand soap (natural vegetable glycerine soap, that's the shape of a hand - who would have thunk it!), wrist-zips (ok these are erring a little on the dork side of accessories - but more so in that really cool Miranda July kinda dork way).
PF has as small but unique range of handmade bits and bobs, but I bet they'll be coming up with some new clever ideas by the time the nights start to get longer in Indiana.
Hands up for soap!
