You know those cute-as-pie Swedish girls that you see on Face Hunter, or those too hip to be a square gals you see cruising down New York avenues on The Sartorialist? I bet you 10 pounds (because its worth more and all) that they picked up their little stripped shoulder padded shift and polka dot frilled mini-skirt at Pixie Market.
Contrary to its namesake Pixie Market is neither pixie nor market. It's a super cool shop in New York that sells sweet threads by labels you have probably never heard of before. Some labels like Stolen Girlfriends Club, Mogil, Shakuhachi and Katzi may sound a little more familiar.
I know we at FourThousand are all about Bristown, but when super cool stuff is happening beyond the Story Bridge it doesn't mean we can't let you in on it. Especially when this super cool happenin' stuff is accessible via the interwebs. Even more so that this super cool shopping phenomenon includes many Australian labels. Its like the clothing equivalent of us thinking nothing of Aussie actors when they're on Home And Away and then they get to be in some American rom-com or machine epic and we're all like ‘Oh, we love them.'
I digress. Pixie Market. It's hip. It's affordable. It sells out quick. And it does free priority international shipping for all orders over $150.
