Are you always the last to hear about something big? Feel left out when everyone knows about something and you are the one person in the corner thinking to themselves "what the hell are they on about?" Ever rocked up to a sale to find the one thing you were looking for walked out the door five minutes before you walked in? Well now is your chance to turn that all around... (and potentially get some steak knives at the same time with a spiel like this one) Why? Because NineLives has launched an online store folks!
We would like to say it's revolutionary - but it's just plain old common sense. Everybody loves convenience so why not offer it to them. So, say you hear about an upcoming show at the gallery but you miss out for a pretty damn good reason. Well now you can jump online to view and purchase original artworks, prints, zines and any other goods an artist or the gallery decides could warrant a few extra clams. You can be a gallery go-er without the going part, not that we don't want to see your handsome mugs about the place, we just want to bring it all to you via the shiny little cables too. Who doesn't love a virtual shopping trolley? Besides we can't quite fit those in the gallery yet.

FourThousand is a subcultural guide to Brisbane, published daily and fired by email weekly. It is compiled by an amorphous gaggle of Brisbane writers, stylists, designers and photographers who all like huddling under that big umbrella we like to call creativity. Without editorial independence FourThousand has nothing. All editorial you read is featured because it's worth it - not because it's paid for.
