Things are looking up in Brisbane's East Side folks; amidst the take-aways, doctors surgeries, laundromats and K-Rudd's office on Wynnum Road, there are a few little gems to be found. A new favourite being La Bella Donna (spotted just across the road from the coolest barbers in town), there she sits, back straight and pearls shining like a real lady should.
Inside La Bella Donna is trove of dainty and delightful vintage from as early as the 1930's right up into the 90's, but owner Anna Travierso is really all about the lace, the frills and attention to detail of pre-60's garments. The collection is also dotted with everyone's favourite label, ‘the pre-loved designer' (imagine your luck finding a vintage Chanel or Gucci number in good nick) along with as some brand new items sourced overseas from slightly less well-known designers.
If you are looking for a special frock for a special occasion, then give La Bella Donna a try. While her range is not wildly prolific, it is select and it could just be your lucky day. If you aren't swept off your feet on your first visit, don't be disheartened as we can assure you the stock is always replenishing and on your next chance encounter La Bella could bestow just the piece for you.
