The name really doesn't do it justice. Crafty Ideas sounds a bit Martha Stewart sitting down for a wild night of scrap booking. It really should be called 'Crazy Store Jam Packed Full Of Awesome Sh*t You Won't Find Anywhere Else'. Or maybe just changing it to 'Crazy Ideas' would suffice.
While they do have a good selection of cross-stitch materials, sequins, beads and a wide variety of twine, this only takes up a small section of the store. The rest of the space houses everything from a Harry Potter to Elton John selection of glasses, bottles of glitter, breast plate amour, feathers and every style of fake moustache known to man. Handel bar, the Merv Hughes, bushy, French style, Italian style, porn star and even side burns. Yep, they really have got everything covered.
Amongst the novelty wigs, fantasy masks and vampire teeth are some really cool things that could exist outside a fancy dress party. Crafty Ideas stocks a fabulous range of standout tights, unique styled gloves, feathered false eye lashes and sequined bow ties (probably more fabulous that the store owners realise). The lovely ladies at the store are also happy to order in things for you, in order to satisfy your every fake moustache need.
