With all this environmental hoo-hah of late, it makes perfect sense to switch to pedal power. That is until another trend comes along to make you feel like buying a bike is all too much effort. Thankfully, FourThousand is here to enlighten you a little by discrediting the current vintage bike craze. No, most folk have not been doing anything romantic like sifting through op-shops, or reacquainting themselves with their grandparents in hope of a two wheeled find (and maybe a scone or two along the way). Yes, retro-bike builders, Bicycle Revolution do a roaring trade turning bike part trash into hipster treasure.

If you want to put a bit of hip into the hippie ways of cycling, this is the place to go. For a reasonable fee, the worldly dudes at Bicycle Revolution will build you your very own piece of custom cool. Pedals, handle bars, tyres, seat - it's all up to you. You can even have a custom paint job if you don't fancy a rusty roller. There's a variety of colours to choose from. Just don't pick McLaren Red. It's mine. And if bells and whistles aren't your thing, you can also buy a pre-built bike off the rack. Where's the fun in that though, Fidel? This is supposed to be a Revolution.
