Description:
Okay, so this isn't really just Andrew Tuttle at GoMA Cinémathèque. It's actually Andrew Tuttle performing a musical score to Alfred Hitchcock's 1926 film The Lodger. But we're sure Hitchcock would love Tutts plans to reconfigure various post-Federation era acoustic musical forms within experimental parameters, utilising electronic and acoustic instrumentation. Tuttle's aural creations straddle boundaries between improvisation and composition. - MW

Description:
It's punk with a soft-indie-pop side - sure, maybe on recordings you could say that in parts. Live however, D!D!D! are an epic juggernaut of attitude, drunken rage and dare I say it - post teen angst? Whatever they are jumping around about it works for me. It's sheer beautiful rage and infectious abstract melodies. The NZ band rarely make it to Oz these days with so much demand all-over the globe, so catch them while you can. - RS
