If you’re going to check out anything to do with under the radar, then you can bet your bottom dollar there is only one place to start: the official program of course!
Find out your who’s-what’s-it’s all nicely packaged in the A5 notebook sized program. There’s also a bunch of interesting facts, did you know that under the radar sprouted from the success of the inaugural Brisbane Festival Theatre Fringe 06? Yep, there’s a history lesson for us all. And some people find history sexy… history, wide-framed glasses and feminine blouses.

OK, so here is the DL: BF08 under the radar is unique in Australia because of its focus on theatre and contemporary performance; you see most fringe festivals are predominately stand-up comedy material. Here in Brisbane, we’re more serious about our art. That said, we do like to get a little silly too: a quote straight out of the program… ‘Get ready to be inspired, revolted and entertained!’
Get it while it’s still cutting edge folks. Fact: all the artwork in the program is done by the razor-sharp of cutting edge, Mr. Stephen Mok.
