Lula Magazine
Lula is the kind of girl you'd have a crush on. Or be intimidated by. Or want to be best friends with. Or all three. She's a babe (of course), and talented, and effortlessly cool to boot. Her style is all old-fashioned cameras, 70's dresses, patterned stockings, heavy mascara. She'd live in an apartment where the wallpaper is peeling off, but it would be held together lovingly by a litter of poems and polaroids.
Wooooo
If you want something to read and you don't mind if it's really stupid, you should read my magazine - Wooooo. It's an interview-based deal I publish biannually from my filthy little rat-hole in New York City. When I say biannually I mean whenever time permits, however next year we'll be adhering to a strict schedule of four issues per year.
doingbird Magazine
There are so many fashion culture-led periodicals around that it truly does take something quite considered to cut through the sea of all of them. doingbird, published by local Photographer (my band mate and good friend) Max Doyle and Art Director Malcolm Watt, really accomplishes this. Ignoring any of my own involvement, it defiantly pulls together the best creative talent from around the globe.

As a trend forecasting agency, it might seem strange that they would be giving away their insights so freely (indeed, downloadable as a PDF), but Future Lab seem more generous than those we would normally think of whom engage in trend forecasting, (jealously guarding their insights so Nike can come along and buy them for One Million Dollars).
Peppermint Magazine

This is the ethos of Peppermint: the new Brisbane-based fashion mag with a refreshingly green focus. Sure, we may be in an era where it's increasingly 'hip to be green', but Peppermint is about much more than just window-dressing environmental concern.
CREATIVEAGGRESSION Magazine
‘EATIV' in capitals has to be one of the most difficult combinations of letters imaginable to kern. The spaces between E and A, A and T, T and I, and so on, are all different, leaving different legacies of space to distract from the reading of the word. The craft of subtly adjusting those spaces is an invisible, mundane but crucial part of one design discipline.
The Fader
If there was an Opulent Bible, it would be a compiled back-catalogue of The Fader magazine, and we would refer to it as "The Good Book of All That is Good". The Fader falls into the realm of a music-culture-lifestyle magazine, but with a marked difference. Rather than waiting for an artist to get discovered or a fashion label to break, they go out and find them.
