Junior is essentially a union for young creatives, as explained in the site's appropriately-named ‘WTF?' section. It was started six months ago by a writer named Tait and his uni pal Ed. They're two young dudes Creative Advertising graduates. But instead of sitting around and bitching about how hard it is to find work in the creative sector, they've put together a site that's become an excellent resource for young creative people who're big on ideas, but low on employment.

How young? "If you're still learning from people older than you, that's young enough", they reckon. In addition to the weekly inspiration kick known as the 'Monday Morning Whip', which is provided by advertising industry guru Stan Lee, Tait and Ed have amassed an excellent collection of interviews with established professionals. The Junior guys have wisely invested many hours into hooking up these conversations, drinking beer with the subjects, and then transcribing the result for the world to see.

So are you into advertising? Or animation? Or design? Or film? Or photography? Or writing? Quit sitting around feeling sorry for yourself and your home-brand cereal. Spend a couple of hours digesting the free advice on Junior, then go and kick life's ass. You can even read and interview they did with Penny Modra, queen bee of our sister publication, ThreeThousand. For reals. As a bonus, here's a link to an interview I did last month with Tait. Go get ‘em, tigers.
