Description:
With the release of their debut album Elephant Shell earlier this year, Canadian pop-rockers Tokyo Police Club hit Australia for a run of shows revolving around their Splendour In The Grass appearance. Their shimmering guitar pop has drawn comparisons to a few notable acts, but their sound is still unique and fresh enough to our ears, and it doesn’t reek of rip-off-ish-ness (yes… rip-off-ish-ness). The only problem is that this is on the same night as The Polyphonic Spree - damn! -SM
