There’s pretty much nothing better than going to a garage sale and sifting through other people’s random shit. It’s a kind of lower-scale, less-guilty voyeurism when you’re strutting around in a strangers home, making judgment-calls based solely on their life’s collection of books, music, clothing, furniture etc.
The one downfall of garage sales is most of the crap for sale is basically just that: crap. That’s why the Alibi Room’s monthly garage sale is so awesome. Six cool kids selling heaps of cool stuff for ridiculously cheap prices, coupled with a beer or cuppa tea at the Alibi Room. Yep, that’s a fairly perfect Sunday.
So, homie, come on down to sift through the books, CD’s, Japanese stationery, pretty summer dresses, art, and other items of miscellany at the Alibi Room this Sunday. All you’ll need to bring is your spare change.
