It was surprisingly hard to track down any information about this remarkable artist called Jack Pemble. All we've got for you this time around is basic demographic information like: Jack Pemble lives in Brisbane. Jack Pemble studies at the Queensland College of Art. Jack Pemble is twenty-one years old. Jack Pemble was the youngest finalist in the Metro 5 Prize, an award facilitated by one of the most prestigious galleries in the country.

But you know what? Information sucks. Because if what you're looking for in your life is voracious pleasure, or some kind of temporary and dazzling aesthetic satisfaction (such things are meant to happen at this time of year, after all) then what you need to do is get yourself along to this gallery to check out Jack Pemble's new collection of paintings.

His raw and edgy concoctions of dripping shadows, faces, imagined visions, patchy pastel shades and heavy black and blue lines collide and intersect on the canvas, and then they turn to look at you and reel you in and basically steal all of your words away, so you're speechless and that's when you realise that some things in life are just far too bewildering and far too beautiful to be described with words, and maybe that's why people like Jack Pemble make art in the first place?
