El Torito is so charming it makes the sun itself smile. When just walking along Boundary Street, you wouldn't even realise it was a restaurant - (if not for the chalk board proclaiming it's lunch specials).
It was these very lunch specials that drew me in... “$9.95 for a burrito/chimichanga/enchilada and a fanta/coke/diet coke/sprite” I said, “That's pee-pants sick.” The inside was completely empty but the wall hangings were really very interesting to gaze at mid-burrito (hot tip on the burrito btw - they're delicious).
I just really can't understand why the place was empty. Maybe it rocks out at night-time and I am just uninformed of sweet-cheap-Mexican-restaurants before now, but gee whiz get in at lunch time, it's top notch.
