Camping. Ugh. Sandy beds. Mosquito bites. Pit toilets. Dirty hair. Sure, it's fun for the first night or two, with all that fresh air and quiet beauty, but soon comes the ickiness and late night rustlings and Wolf-Creek-like abandon of it all which makes you question how well you really know the person/s accompanying you...

Alright, so maybe I just 'don't get it' because - yes, let's stereotype - I am a girl (and a pretty sissy one at that). So if you're tougher than me and can happily do away with hair products and clean sheets, then the city's Camping Disposal Store should be right up your alley. It's chocked full of goods of the very 'manly-and-adventurous' variety: knives, thermoses, tents, backpacks and everything else you could ever need for any outdoorsy-type endeavour. Plus there's plenty of fun stuff as well. Wonderfully-bad 'Australia' souvenir hats complete with dangling corks; balaclavas (for warmth, not holding up 7-Elevens); and stacks of bags - including the indie-kid-must-have canvas sling.

Just don't try and take photos in the store (no matter how amusing you think you look in that sheepskin Swedish Army Hat). They get pretttty cranky, and with that many knives around, you best behave.
