Take both balls from each member of The Chaser, cross them with a hardcore method actor and you get Sacha Baron Cohen. The man has no fear. As an audience member you'll simultaneously feel fear for his safety and gratitude for the laughter caused by the potentially dangerous situations he seems to lunge headfirst into as Brüno.

If you're a fan of laughing, cringing or tut-tutting at the Americans because they are oh-so ignorant or you're all high-and-mighty, then this movie is totally for you. If you are a fan of morally ‘nice' behaviour, maybe it's not for you; maybe you should just stick to writing the bi-weekly newsletter for your cats.

The hilarious trailer, the web campaign, the bus stop posters and the TV appearance that actually made Rove tolerable; Brüno is an event movie. As a citizen of the western world you would have to be so far out of the loop not to be aware of its existence that you might as well be living in Borat's hometown Kuzcek. Unlike most over-hyped event movies though, this one delivers the goods. The willy shaking, politician seducing, child abusing, redneck angering goods.
