Fresh from Sydney's fashion week, the bambam winter 08 collection is finally here. For those of you who aren't familiar with the brand, Bambam is the lovechild of Brisbane-based designers (and brothers) Chris and Michael Pretsel, and is creating quite a name around the country. The boys specialise in a funky brand of art-based streetwear: printed tees and hoodies for guys; pinafores and patterned dresses for girls. It's non-pretentious, completely wearable, and lots of fun to boot.

And just because it's winter time doesn't mean bambam is letting things dull down. “Winter 08 is called Vices of the New Order,” says Michael. “It is based around themes of addiction juxtaposed against quirky cartoon aesthetics.” Look out for strong prints, peculiar graphics, oversized hoodies and eye-catching splashes of colour.
