In some cultures it's ok to walk around topless, just don't show your knees please ladies. In others, getting your kit off is rewarded with metallic beads, the more you drink - the more you show and more the more you show - the more beads you get. Well that's how they do it in New Orleans at least once a year. Brisbane multi-media artist Chantal Fraser's first solo exhibition is a bold comment on the annals of travel and tourism. The collection features neckpieces from her Samoan family alongside a pool of metallic beads thrown from the balconies of Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Titillating? Yes. - RS
