This is the beginning of the single greatest music project we have ever attempted at the Thousands. The birth of a MixTape library that will grow each week via the skilled ears of our music editors and with the monthly input of super guest editors who are not almost famous... they are famous. Apart from rescuing the whole notion of mix tapes from the depths of obscurity, this will also rescue your music library from doldrums... and arguably rescue some underpaid artists from the poverty line. Make sure you visit us each Tuesday when the MixTape updates with sounds from the frontier of human endeavour.
Mixtape No: 25
This weeks theme are songs that make the soundtrack to a rainy day. While not exactly sad, they don't lift those spirits up and make you dance around the house...unless you happen to be suicidal. Then they are actually quite happy. In fact, this is a multi-purpose mix: melancholy for most of us but life changingly happy for all you suicidal freaks. Put it on, watch the rain fall, and settle in to hear something new. That is the point of this whole MixTape thing we do here, right?
