"Hey! Small Fry! Get over here and join us for some b-ball!". Ever noticed how shorties are usually pretty good at neighbourhood basketball? Maybe I'm deluding myself, but their height can allow for lots of duck and weave. Enough to give Leroy Loggins a run for his money. They'll be under his legs in no time. Anyway, Small Fry, the last show of the year at Nine Lives has that same cheeky nature.
The show encompasses photography, design, drawing and painting. With an arsenal of 26 artists all yelling in unison "goodbye 2009, you were good to us, but 2010, you look like the love of my life", there's a certain amount of optimism in the air. And all the works are $150 and under - small prices for small fries. Featured artists include HAW, Lachie Goldsworthy, Maximilian, Hannah Smith and more!
