Porous Walker is an artist. He has a board in this years I Used To Skate Once show. Porous Walker likes to skate. Porous Walker likes my last name. Porous Walker is the nicest dude, ever. In 1992 - long before buzz words like ‘extreme sports' and ‘street art' made marketing execs' pants wet, and before Manhattan's Lower East Side became an outdoor streetwear mall - skateboarding's popularity was at an all-time low. Very few people skated. Even fewer cared.
Aaron Rose's Alleged Gallery gave New York City's die-hard skateboard and graff freaks a place to hang out, amongst the hoodlums and cheap rents of the Lower East Side.

Carmela Ruffino
Carmela Ruffino is a machine. So much so, that we think she should change her name to Tuffino. I mean, no sissy could ever pump out as many amazing paintings as she does and still have time to live and love the way you can see she does (it's there in her eyes). Ruffino has created these miniature paintings, which could almost be described as some sort of nü linear abstraction.
Booÿ & Haw, A Series Of Furniture Prototypes
Both Booÿ and Haw are notorious for paving roads in design. You may remember Haw from such typesets as the Hawphabet. Or his t-shirt designs at Peeple. But, in this collaboration with Booÿ, Haw goes beyond the 2D and both actually make the most of their Industrial Design degrees (schlock horror.
