While you might not have heard of Isola Bella until now, you can be almost certain that she knows about you. Not only does she know about you, but she also knows about your bedroom, because she has probably photographed it without you knowing.

Isola Bella is an internationally acclaimed digital media artist whose career in the creative industries has spanned almost two decades. ‘On Watching and Noticing’ is her first show in Australia.

Primarily consisting of photographic works, this exhibition sees the artist as voyeur to the bedrooms of Brisbane. She captures your home as an empty shell—an unsentimental, largely transient, and incredibly fascinating place.

Was your bedroom fascinating enough to make the cut?
