There's no excuse if you've still never been to an exhibition opening at Juggler's Art Space. Oh what's that, you don't get paid until next week? It's free, fool. Oh what's that, you're asking whether the beer is free too? No, the beer isn't free, but it's cheap. The only thing that doesn't come cheap is the art, and that's because the art is amazing.
Working out of the studios upstairs at Juggler's Art Space, Brisbane artist Nic Plowman has displays works in his fifth exceptional solo exhibition Magic.Sex.Death. Driven by an edgy quality of line, Plowman's vision is an amalgam of abstraction, and seems to play with the boundaries of what is imagined and dreamt and what is real and exists.
Nic Plowman is getting Brisbane excited about art all over again. Join us tonight as we side step the stiff white-collar art institutions taking over this town. In a forgotten corner of the Valley, let's spend just one evening in the courtyard drinking cheap beer in a glorious arty dedication to magic, sex and death.
