She goes to sleep humming the tunes of Hercules and Love Affair and her bedtime story consists of wandering though black and white pages of Helmut Newton photography. It's no wonder this clever designer wakes up filled the ideas of romance, old Hollywood and well, sex. While most of us just look down the bottom of a mug of coffee and wonder is that really the time?
Tonight is that time for Irena, time to step out of the proverbial closet and unleash her very first collection (drumroll please). Sex and Landscapes draws from Irena's familiar bedfellows - music and fashion. Made from ‘light as air' silk cottons for the ease of day-to-night convenience, while still maintaining a high-end impression. Rich silk taffeta and cuts the perfect length above the knee bring a whole new, romantic vision to the 'little black dress'.
Tonight's launch will be no less fabulous than any 1950s Hollywood soiree with bubbles, cupcakes and tunes from The Golden Girls DJs. Pucker up.
