Ridiculously long line-ups outside venues in our magical Fortitude Valley Entertainment Precinct are something that we've just had to get used to. Saying that, if you happened to be hanging around the corner of Brunswick and Ann streets approximately a year ago and witnessed the huge mob of citizens descending upon The Zoo, you would have mumbled something as useless as I did, something like 'Wholy Shit wow that's a lot of people.'
That huge crowd was lining up to see last year's "i used to skate once" exhibition and, guess what, a whole year has passed and it's on again! If you take a minute to consider the high standard of artists who have contributed their skateboard-decoration skills this year (Mark Drew, Tristan Ceddia, Elana Mullaly, Anthony Lister, Beci Orphin, etc) and if you also think about the sweet bands that will be playing (Ouch! My Face, No Anchor, Good God) and...it's just been let out of the bag that I Heart Hiroshima are also joining the bill! (woot) It becomes pretty certain that everyone in Brisbane will be rocking up once again.
