Bodysurfing
Body bashing has never looked so good!
Having a sneaky dip between the flags is an effort that close to everyone has taken part in at some stage. Artist and Photographer Ryan Heywood started the project about six monthsa ago, taking open photo contributions from around the world. The beauty of this online picture book is that its theme, bodysurfing is completely open to interpretation - be it sitting in the shallows between the red and yellows or braving big surf while dressing up to look more like a seal than a seal itself in ice-cold water in northern California...
Bodysurf #2 features some amazing photography, well worth a browse, even if it is only to kill 5 minutes while you contemplate finishing the task at hand. Our own Lachie Goldsworthy sent a few in, as well as Mederia Island (somewhere off the Portugese Coast) resident Pedro Ramos who also sent us a few pics for the Viewfinder show a little while back.
