It's only hip to be square right? And what better way to be square than to make some amazing fan art of your favourite bands. That's what Art2 is all about. No, it's not some drawing of Kurt Cobain from high school scrapbooks, but 2D adult-e-rated versions of some of our locally celebrated guitar-slinging, bass-toting, drum-belting, obscure Keralite instrument-blowing musicians.
As part of 4ZzZfm's annual subscriber drive, Radiothon, Art2 is showcasing some awesome "nip you in the bud" visual artists including Meg Bauer, Ciel Fuller, Celeste Potter, Edward Niznik, Claire Renton and more. They'll be portraying the likes of John Steel Singers, Not From There, An Horse, Turnpike and The Saints. Not only that, but funds raised will go to 4ZzZ and charities through Bleeding Heart Gallery. This exhibition isn't just reminiscent, but celebrating what we still have. You might just leave with a Moleskine full of ideas.
