It's pretty normal to see photographers taking snaps of awesome graffiti, but you wouldn't normally catch graffiti writers producing art on top of portrait photographs. Local photographer Tasmin and graffiti artist Lucks are from completely different sides of the artistic tracks, but they've decided to bring their work together for this crazy sexy art mash-up.
& Everything In Between is artistic collaboration at its damn finest. Opening this evening, the exhibition features rad photography-graffiti mashups, as well as solo collections, eclectic mixes of found objects and people, magazines, prints and cats.
One of the highlights has got to be the photographers series of twelve male portraits - diverse in their style and sexuality - which hse been printed out and then ‘visually enhanced' in the old school way by Lucks with aerosol, posca, collage and ink.
The whole thing is basically the kind of work you might be inspired to dabble in if your computer didn't have the newest version of Photoshop running 24/7. Yeah that's right, you heard me. Turn off your goddamn Macbook and take a look through your trash can. Art is in everything and in everything in between.
