So you walk through the front door of the Alibi Room and you notice is that it's been transformed into Brisbane's most rocking art gallery. You could describe the sight before your eyes as a kind of ‘cyber playground', or you could call it a pleasant seizure-inducing body of work incorporating fluro visual remixes, squiggles, genius scribbles and electric vectors.
We sincerely hope that you're reading this edition of FourThousand on Thursday. Because if it's actually Monday right now and you're bludging at work after your okay-but-not-great weekend you'll be feeling a little bit embarrassed that you missed out on so many awesome parties and art exhibitions.
It’s not often that the Gold Coast out-cools Brisbane. But on the two weeks of the year that it does, it’s so amazing that it actually makes up for the rest of the time. There’s been so many art spaces opening in Brisbane lately and with every new art exhibition comes another conversation about whether our city is actually ready for this much art.
