Remember the first time you saw Ichi the Killer? Or Taxidermia? Or the time your housemate bought home that much sought after Jodorowsky box set and started performing weird rituals like getting naked (with other people) in their room? These films were probably all rented from Trash.
Though it's sad, saying goodbye to a cultural institution doesn't always come with this many pluses.
Five is such a nice age. You're old enough to know a thing or two, but still naive enough to belief in fairytales, Santa Claus and the value of money escapes you. Being the kind of five year old that knows how to have fun; to celebrate they're throwing a big dress-up party (with all the clothes for sale) and inviting their friends around for a sale at unbelievable prices.

So we've introduced you to Marky before and I think things went swimmingly, wouldn't you say? I mean he showed you his quirky goods and offered you cheap booze, it was a Sunday of highs. But then things got busy and some time passed, and you're wondering if you should start things up again? I'm mean, you're free most weekends and he did display some enticing qualities; he made a mean pork belly taco, had original tees and vintage clothing that you envied and was even into some burlesque accessories that kept things interesting.
Festivals are expensive - this is just another sad fact of life. What with the outrageous ticket prices and ban of alcohol in the camping grounds, chances are that unless Gold Lotto has done you a favour recently, it's going to be bit of a struggle to come up with enough funds to survive Splendour this year.
