Okay, we’re not even going to bother trying to be clever or witty in describing this performance because it’s shocking enough as it is. All you need to know is that this live art show and subsequent exhibition, involves an artist painting onto a canvas using her own blood. Yes, really.

Why not just use a realistic shade of red oil paint, or tomato sauce like they do in low-budget horror films, you ask? Well, if your objective is to make people stop and really think about the ravages of war, tomato sauce just doesn’t rock the canvas.
