There's a pigeon lady who lives across the road from my boyfriend's house. She's a genuine pigeon lady (perhaps Brisbane's only): sitting on her front porch with her walking frame and shawls; her flock of grey feathered children nesting peacefully around her.

Lost Pigeon is not the story of the one that got away (kind of like the Mormon or Amish teenager who escapes the compound).
