Lure on Latrobe
According to a column in The New Yorker circa 1942 some retired Wall Street stock broker by the name Lemuel Benedict coined the origin of the eggs benny. Benedict wandered into the Waldorf Hotel one particularly hungover 1894 morning in hope of finding a cure for his distressed liver. He ordered buttered toast, poached eggs, crisp bacon and a side of hollandaise.

It's not often enough you go to nice restaurants to be greeted by bonny Irish lasses. Never in my experience as a sampler of the delights of postcode 4000 and beyond have I come across such cheer and good will. The Chelsea is seriously a very good place to eat, with the best coffee I've had in a long while.
Kazuyo's Collection
You know how they say ‘when one door closes another opens'... Well, it's certainly true of 102 Latrobe Tce. While some still mourn the loss of Hot Chocolate and those ridiculous milkshakes, we'd like to make very welcome Latrobe's newest resident, Kazuyo.
This quaint, discerning store houses the most remarkable collection of traditional and contemporary Japanese design.

The good old fashioned community fair is a dying breed. Ciel Fuller, the woman behind the festival knows the importance of a good fair, she grew up in Paddo and is keeping the magic and tradition of the bygone Paddington Street Festival alive. What a gal! There'll be music from heaps of local peeps and all the things you fondly remember from any fair: a jumping castle, delicious food, markets, face painting and umm, basically fun.

In the lead up to Earth Hour (now bigger and better than ever!), we're probably all wondering what more we can do. Okay, so Springborg's team didn't get up on the weekend so we can breathe a little sigh of relief that that dude who thinks The Barrier Reef's deterioration is due to wild pigs isn't going to be running things, but that doesn't mean we can rest on our laurels.
