Lick It presents Chicks With Moustaches
Where:
Empire Hotel, 339 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley
When:
Fri Nov 27, 9pm
How much:
$15 on the door
Description:
Sure Lick It is a reliable foundation for blowin' your dosh on booze and getting jiggy on the dancefloor - but this weekend they're giving some back, raising money for Movember and bringing a whole new kind of awareness to the male appendage. Get aware with Hoops, Anna Lunoe, Ladyboy and more.
Cause I don't wanna die. Without shaking up a leg or two
Yeah I wanna do some dancing too
So come on, come on, come on
Come on and dance with me
So I feel strange writing about being so deeply into a band in the process of setting the world on fire, but with these guys (girls) I have to make an exception, for the record has been in constant rotation with me these past weeks.

FourThousand is a subcultural guide to Brisbane, published daily and fired by email weekly. It is compiled by an amorphous gaggle of Brisbane writers, stylists, designers and photographers who all like huddling under that big umbrella we like to call creativity. Without editorial independence FourThousand has nothing. All editorial you read is featured because it's worth it - not because it's paid for.
