APT6 has taken over every nook and cranny of GoMA, turning the River Café into Bar GoMA, Brisbane's Asian-pop party central. Expect to see GoMA's resident DJ spinning tracks, an Asian-inspired food and drinks menu and specially commissioned light installation on the lawn. Plus screenings of Japanese director Takeshi Kitano's cult classics in the Australian Cinémathèque at 8pm.

In the Loop is based on the British political satire The Thick Of It, which has been dubbed the new Yes, Minister. But to paraphrase one character, In The Loop makes Yes, Minister "look like Angela Lansbury". The dialogue crackles with witty one-liners, pop-culture references and copious amounts of furious, creative swearing.
