A new tradition has formed at our house, similar to the monthly cleaning out of the back corner of the fridge and the fortnightly roundup of forks from between the couch cushions (weird, I know - but it's true). It's the Saturday late-morning food run (read hangover food mission) and it makes life just a little more tolerable, especially when the kitchen is a mess and there are no forks.
You're so creative! You're like a colourful Lorikeet locked in a cage in that office cubical! You're always working' for the man! When was the last time you did something for 'you'? A selfish cross-word? A sneaky game of sudoku? It's undeniable, games are good for the mind. With less gang-busters bash 'em up and more raw strategy a young lady named Amy petitioned the council for Games Night - and whoop-de-do-da it happened (seriously), each month BCC gives her pocket money to buy rad games for you to play for free.
Brisbane's own Violent Soho are home for a quick visit amidst an enduring overseas conquest. Since forming post-high school, the four-piece from Mansfield have been travelling along a steady trajectory to international recognition. In one year's time they have recorded an album with Gil Norton (Pixies, The Triffids) and toured with the heroes of their adolescence.

Description:
I overheard some boys talking about this film the other day and I couldn't help but be reminded of when I first heard little conversations about The Mighty Boosh or Tim and Eric. Dear all bedroom-bound artists, crafters, collectors, creators or possessors of too much clothing and other paraphernalia: Suitcase Rummage is the event you've been waiting for. Just like a market but without all hassle of tables and marquees and regulatory hoops, Suitcase Rummage invites any young Brisbanites to pop on down to King George Square armed with a suitcase or two of goodies they'd like to sell, and whala, instant marketplace.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be pinned down by a friendly but (obviously) psychotic centaur who is desperately trying to tell you something? Of course you haven't. Clicks, the first track on Sleepwalks' debut EP is this. Well, it's not as terrifying, but equally thrilling and intense.
