The last time I saw Juan Maclean do a full live set and not just a DJ gig, there were more glowsticks than in the ticket line for Sensation. While that wasn't too strange, the fact that all of the Juan MacLean glowsticks were on stage, solely for the rave out episodes of the band members was (strange). It's crazy how far (down/up?) John has come from being in Six Finger Satellite.

Anyways, turning up both the rave and Human League influence, The Future Will Come is not for casual listening. It's a full-on party album which, if you're not prepared for it, will have you bobbing, tapping, and wriggling in your bus seat, freaking out all the squares. With a 12-minute single, 'Happy House', capping off the blistering second record, the Juan Maclean give the impression of finally hitting their stride.
