Graceful, charismaticm almost tribal-pop with an immense splash of optimism sprayed throughout - illustrating Tilly And The Wall's sound brings a smile to the face even just writing about it. Their somewhat untitled third album sparks with vivaciousness and pure fun, with each song adding a rung toward an ascendance of dynamic powerpop bliss, with the first step Tall Tall Grass a fragile shell of disenchantment, before rising steadily toward the sanguine peak of Chandelier Lake in a clutter of keys, mellotron, chimes, guitars, drums and saccharine vocals -that feel a little 'electric-kool-aid' soaked at times.

Dust Me Off and Falling Without Knowing utilise a more electronic sound to create a slightly more frenetic traversal between pop and dance, before the sound peters back out to a more inert guitar + drum-based sound, encapsulating the ease with which the four-piece can beautifully transpose their style. This album is indeed a great piece of pop-in-motion and a testament to the ability of this Nebraskan quartet - who says you can't have fun and still be wistful?
