First preference on public playground equipment. The list goes on. And now - courtesy of lovely local label mini mermaid - it seems they can have the best wardrobe too.
The lady behind the project, Shannon Graham, begun at Eumundi markets just over two years ago and is now stocked in some of the hottest children's wear boutiques around the country. She uses a combination of new and vintage fabrics to create mini couture-masterpieces featuring some of our favourite childhood icons: Strawberry Shortcake, Holly Hobbie and Care Bears! The results are to-die-for cute, but before you go and have a baby just so you can dress it in mini mermaid, listen up: due to the high demand, Shannon is in the process of redesigning garments in women's sizes!
Inspired by her own two daughters Trinity and Lily, mini mermaid's award-winning range is all handmade, eco-friendly, ethically-produced, locally-based and goddamn gorgeous.
