With a chilly April already upon us, it looks like Brisbane is headed for a long, cold winter. This may mean your chance to finally wear that expensive coat you bought in Melbourne, or even experience the foreign pleasure of gloves(!), but it doesn't mean we have to completely lose the spirit of summer.
Gold-coast designer Brittany Anais is working hard to put the sunshine and fragrance back into the colder months with her collection of floral dresses, colourful prints and stunning couture pieces. "My objective was to create something special, personalised and individual," says Brittany. "I think that what you wear should reflect your soul in style, and I have poured my heart into each and every design. The label conjures up a feeling of carefree elegance and earthy romance and at the same time swings into a free-spirited bohemian style."
Already recognised by hit fashion magazines like Yen and Russh, this talented young designer – she's only 20! - is definitely one up-and-comer to look out for. Get in first by heading to Gold Coast boutiques 'I Hate My Skirt' and 'Inverse.' You can also visit or contact her.
