Georg is a really nice dude / artist from Brisbane who makes intensely interesting art pieces with a very moving quality. Known for his 'outdoor' works for sometime now, this new collection of Georg's is more smaller-scale illustrations, brought to life with paint and a sort of perfection in imperfection. The colours are these amazing washed out tones that can best be described as very ‘human' in colour and feel. You really need to see these. You really need one to hang in your bedroom.
The collection is made up of pieces completed recently in Berlin and BNE. With kudos to The Outpost, the works will be hanging in the store until April 10th, then - just to be different - there will be a little closing night party.
But if you wait till then, it'll a probably be too late to buy a piece - last I looked, there was at least a handful of little red dots on the catalogue already. Make haste people.
