Well did you know before tennis stardom came table tennis and he was a world champion at age 19? Did you know he and some Austrian footballer invented ‘the sweatband' marking the birth of Fred Perry sportswear? All that and more is true.
A rebel with a cause, Fred Perry came from a working class background but that didn't dampen his flamboyant streak.
