So, you're in the CBD, and you're thinking to yourself, where can I get a nice little somethin' somethin' to nibble on? Something tart to sip on? You'd be mistaken for thinking the Players Universal Lounge on Mary Street was the place for such things, but just across the road a swank hidden bar is waiting to surprise and tantlise your senses silly and nothing about this place says f-ck me boots or faux leather.
At Euro and Laneway it's more about $16 wagu beef burgers and grapefruit and marmalade infused summer cocktails. The dining and drinking list is far more extensive I'm quite positive, but I couldn't get past the herbed beef patty for a late afternoon snack (read meal).
Put together by local interior design firm Arkhefield, the look and experience of the split level restaurant and bar collaboration takes you to a new Brisbane, while it could easily compare with any well designed bar in Melbourne or London, it's got something uniquely Brisbane about it and it's a good thing.
