In case you hadn't noticed, juice is in. It's healthy, it's yummy, it's fashionable in a Mary kate-and-Ashley kind of way. But if you're sick of the long-queues and hyper-coloured, perky-pill overwhelming Boost Juice, there is (believe it or not!) an alternative. And a very refreshing one at that.
Oasis is one of Brisbane's first juice bars, existing long before the fad caught on. Planted conveniently in the centre of Queen Street Mall, it offers many delicious options of juices, smoothies, fruit salads, sandwiches, yogurts and shakes. And, unlike its competitors, Oasis always uses real fruit, never concentrate. Perhaps this is the reason for the heavenly taste of Peach Panama: a smoothie every Oasis-virgin must try.
The shop is even decorated oh-so-prettily with a colourful mosaic of real fruit, so be brave, put that Boost Juice loyalty card on hold, and dare to try something different.
If you're extra keen, you can even check out their sweet virtual tour of the bar and its menu options, along with lots of little facts on the health benefits of different fruits. Who would have thought juice could be this fun?
