Everyone's favourite New Farm hangout spot—The Alibi Room —has given birth. That's right, the bar renowned for bringing us mid-week boozefest "Taco Tuesday" has just become the proud parent of Alibi Jr. It’s a smaller, cafe-orientated (read: non-alcoholic) offspring of Alibi, located adjacent to the The Outpost in the back lanes of Fortitude Valley.
The perfect hideaway from the relentless traffic of Ann Street, Alibi Jnr is open Monday to Friday during business hours and is the perfect place to grab a quick coffee, meal, fresh juice or snack. Though it lacks the lure of alcohol, little junior still promises to be lots of fun: maintaining touches of owner James Straker's curious penchant for vintage toys, kitsch and memorabilia.
And for your nightly shenanigans, the original Alibi Room still has lots to offer, with theme-nights and specials aplenty.
